Hey MarinaM, very interesting that you say that because that's how a lot of people view prepaid. As you have probably discovered, this just isn't the case. There are no sacrifices to be made other than no more contract to deal. That's a plus in my book. The cell phone providers that Straight Talk uses are some of the best in the country, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon and they don't need a contract to get it. . And that's what people need to know.

I didn't want to get a prepaid phone because I thought I would fall victim to bad cell phone service. But then I heard about Straight Talk. With Straight Talk I was able to find a smart phone to suit my needs AND since they use major cell phone providers for their cell service, I get great reception all the time. The best part is, I never had to sign a contract!

Val, that's a story with a happing ending. Since that was written, Straight Talk has introduced two more smart phones, Nokia E71 and Nokia 6790. Both require the Unlimited plan, which makes sense. I saw that you can get either one of these phones for just under $245, which includes your first 30 days of the Unlimited plan. From there, it will be $45 every 30 days, so you can budget for it. The best part, you will not need a contract to get this. Therefore, you'll will never have to pay a cancellation fee if for some reason it doesn't work out. Really don't think that will happen!

I just bought the Finesse and it's amazing. I've been wanting an iPhone but without the huge bill and StraightTalk has come to the rescue. I paid the cancellation fee from my ex-provider and switched right away. I'm paying 1/3 of the bill that an iPhone would have and all unlimited and on the Verizon network...I still feel like I'm in a dream...zzz..zzz
