The Verizon Prepaid “Basic Plan” is like the name says Basic. This plan has no daily fees but if you use the phone you will be paying 25 cents a minute. This is the best plan to add the text packages to if you only use the phone for texting.
Net10.com for 10 cents a minute or Tracfone.com. from 6.6 cents up to 33 cents a minute are more cost effective options.

The Prepaid Core Plan is 99 cents per day access and calls are 10 cents per minute. Unlimited calls to other Verizon Wireless cell phones are free of charge. I utilized this program for several months, if most of your phone calls are generally with Verizon Wireless users this can be a great plan.
The Prepaid Plus Plan is $1.99 per day access and charges 5 cents per minute. This plan also includes Unlimited night and weekend minutes (starting at 9 p.m.) and Unlimited calls to other Verizon Wireless phones all day.
The Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Talk Plan offers Unlimited minutes and one-cent text messages for $3.99 per day.

Customer Service is available 24/7 via email, a toll free number and from your Verizon prepaid cell phone without incurring airtime charges. I have used the Verizon Customer service and never been treated poorly. I have used Tracfone and Net10 and Straight Talk customer serviceand it is totally different. Verizon CS educates the Representative to help you, Tracfone, Net10, Straight Talk use Customer service to read the directions from their computer.
I have gone to a Verizon Wireless store for help and also called 611 from my Prepaid phone. The Customer Support people have been very good. The 611 phone support was based in the US not the Philipines.
Tracfone Wireless Yearly Cellular phone Plan
Tracfone has two yearly plans to choose from. They sell a $100 yearly unit card which you get Four hundred minutes (800 with DMFL). This unit card almost always has bonus codes available which will usually allow you to get an extra 200 to 400 additional minutes. Check for the newest Tracfone Bonus Coupon Codes. If you only receive 800 units using this minute card you will pay 12.5 cent units and under $9 a month service.
Also offered by Tracfone.com is a $200 yearly plan. This unit card will give you 1500 minutes 3,000 minutes with DMFL) and also a 12 months of service. With Dmfl installed these minutes will only cost 6.6 cents each and your per month expense is below $17 monthly.
