Verizon Wireless Prepaid Cell Phone Plans
Verizon Wireless provides one of the biggest and most reliable wireless networks in the nation. Verizon Wireless also offers Prepaid Wireless services.
The Verizon Prepaid “Basic Plan” with 25 cents per minute with no daily access charge. The Verizon Wireless Basic plan is not competitive with any of the other prepaid wireless plans. This is the best plan to add the text packages to if you only use the phone for texting.
Net10.com for 10 cents a minute or Tracfone.com. from 6.6 cents up to 33 cents a minute are much better available alternatives.

The Prepaid Core Plan will cost you 99 cents per day for access and calls are 10 cents per minute. The 99 cent per day Core plan gives you unlimited calling to any Verizon Wireless phone. Currently this is over 80 million phones. I used Prepaid Core program for almost a year, if your main phone calls are generally with Verizon Wireless customers this can be a great plan.
The Prepaid Plus Plan is $1.99 per day access and charges 5 cents per minute. This plan also includes Unlimited night and weekend minutes (starting at 9 p.m.) and Unlimited calls to other Verizon Wireless phones all day.
The Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Talk Plan offers Unlimited minutes and one-cent text messages for $3.99 per day.

Included with Verizon Prepaid service is Nationwide long distance. There is no extra charge for nationwide long distance.

Conversion Verizon Prepaid to Contract Service
Your Verizon Wireless Prepay cell phone can be converted to a Contract phone if you have used it for six months or more as a prepaid phone. You will not have to sign a contract to add this to a contract. I was able to add one to a Verizon contract for $10 a month on a month by month basis. This worked well for me, a Long Term Contract rate without a long term contract.
Tracfone Prepaid Yearly Cellular phone Plan
Tracfone has two distinctive yearly plans. They market a $100 one year card which you get Four hundred minutes (800 using Double Minutes for Life. If you just receive 800 minutes when addiing card it will only cost you 12.5 cent minutes and less than $9 per month service.
