The Prepaid Unlimited plan is where its at. You can do this purchase-by-the-minute stuff if you like but I think the real power of net10 is in this 50 dollar unlimited plan. It's not 3G fast but apart from that it technically does everything an iPhone can do but it costs a fraction of the price and no contract too!

Yeah, Tracfone and Net10 (and also Straight Talk for that matter) are all owned by the same company which is why they all have intersecting offers. That also explains why all three of those brands have access to the ATT, Verizon, AND T-Mobile towers (now that ATT bought T-mobile) which also explains why their service always comes through crystal clear.

This pay as you go stuff is probably pretty great if you're a low-frequency cell phone user. Me, I use my phone all the time and like the most powerful stuff, but that doesn't mean that I need to sign a contract. Net10 Unlimited everything plan is only 50 dollars per month and I use it to run my business, very powerful and still extremely cheap compared to the big contract boys!

Personally I prefer Net10 because I'm a higher-frequency user who pretty much runs his business off of his phone. At tracfone rates, this would be unnacceptable as the pricing is geared toward minute-at-a-time customers who hardly use their phones. I use Net10 Unlimited for 50 bucks a month and it provides me with literally everything I need.

Just another reason why Net10 really is a great alternative for those on a budget. Who needs fake rollover from contract companies who have you in their pocket for X year anyway when you can have a company that truly gives you the number of minutes you paid for and nothing more?

Net10 now works even better thanks to the fact that ATT just bought T-mobile. Why, you may ask? Because Net10 uses BOTH ATT and Verizon towers to broadcast signal, which means that Net10 now has access to the ATT, Verizon, AND T-Mobile towers. You really can't escape Net10's service area if you TRIED lol.

Never going back to that contract stuff again now that I know what it's like to pay in advance and have no surprises at the end of the month like I so often used to. Love the felxibility to switch between plans. Hate customer service, had to deal with them once and it was awful, but other than that Net10 is where it is.

Now that Tracfone is tapping into senior market for cellphones they are going to be doing sooo much better. So many people are starting to talk about Tracfone, its all the buzz. Hope the company continues to grow and continues to save all of us some much more money :)
